The Orthopedic Manipulative Physical Therapist (O.M.P.T.) is a Physiotherapist who has followed specific University training in Manual Therapy, a branch of physiotherapy that treats neuro-musculoskeletal disorders. 

The OMPT physiotherapist uses the hands as the main tool to perform various techniques:

• passive mobilizations of joints, muscles, ligaments, scar adherence

• vertebral and peripheral manipulations  (HVLAT)

• neurodynamic mobilizations (sliding and tensioning of peripheral nerves)

• MWM, active mobilizations Mulligan method

• specific therapeutic exercises

• Kinesio tape
